Northwesterns Anderson GPAC Womens soccer Defensive Player-of-the-Week

Peyton Anderson of Northwestern College is this week’s GPAC Women’s Soccer Defensive Player-of-the-Week. . It was goalkeeping of the highest order last week for Anderson, a freshman from Buffalo, Minnesota. She totaled 22 saves in a 2-0 start to conference play. She notched 11 saves in both games with an .815 save percentage. It was goalkeeping of the highest order for Anderson last week, who totaled 22 saves in a 2-0 start to GPAC action. Anderson collected 11 saves in both wins over Concordia (Neb.) and Midland.

The Raiders begin conference play 2-0 for the first time since 2012. Their next outing will be tomorrow at Dakota Wesleyan, with kickoff set for 5:00 p.m. in Mitchell, South Dakota.
