The Northwestern College women’s tennis program has received multiple academic honors from the Intercollegiate Tennis Association.
Northwestern was named an ITA All-Academic Team after the Red Raiders compiled a cumulative team GPA of 3.38. Programs must record a team GPA of at least 3.2 to earn the recognition.
All student-athletes must also be listed on the institution’s eligibility form, with each varsity letter winner included in the cumulative team GPA.
Five Northwestern players earned individual ITA Scholar-Athlete recognition. Emily Westenberg, Pietra Ferreira, Alloree Else, Matilde Di Martino and Madalyn Kolb represented the Red Raiders on the academic list.
To qualify as an ITA Scholar-Athlete, a student-athlete must have a GPA of at least 3.5 and be listed on the institutional eligibility form.
