Northwestern remains #1, Dordt #16 in NAIA football Coaches top 25 poll

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Northwestern College football team (3-0, 2-0 GPAC) held onto the No. 1 ranking in the second regular season edition of the NAIA coaches’ poll. NWC took all 18 first-place votes for second-straight poll.

Northwestern has now been ranked inside the top-5 for the 27th-straight poll, and the third-straight poll at No. 1 in the nation.

The NAIA top-5 saw the top-3 teams remain the same with Northwestern at No. 1, Grand View at No. 2, and Morningside at No. 3. Indiana Wesleyan slides up to No. 4, while Marian (Ind.) moves into the No. 5 spot.

In the GPAC, along with Northwestern and Morningside, the Dordt Defenders move up three spots to No. 16 after a 3-0 start to the season.
