Northwestern Earns Top Seed; Dordt Opens on Road in GPAC Volleyball Tournament

The 2025 GPAC Women’s Volleyball Postseason Tournament is set, with Northwestern claiming the No. 1 seed after a perfect 16-0 conference season. The Red Raiders secure the league’s first automatic berth to the NAIA National Championship and will host No. 8 seed Mount Marty in Saturday’s quarterfinal round at 7:30 p.m.

Dordt enters the tournament as the No. 5 seed with a 10-6 GPAC mark and will travel to No. 4 Dakota Wesleyan for its quarterfinal matchup at 7:00 p.m. The Defenders split with DWU during the regular season.

Concordia is the No. 2 seed at 15-1, followed by Midland (3) and Dakota Wesleyan (4). College of Saint Mary (6), Morningside (7), and Mount Marty (8) round out the bracket.

The GPAC Tournament champion earns the league’s second automatic national berth (runner-up if Northwestern wins the tournament).

Quarterfinals – Saturday, November 8

8 Mount Marty at #1 Northwestern – 7:30 p.m.

5 Dordt at #4 Dakota Wesleyan – 7:00 p.m.

6 College of Saint Mary at #3 Midland – 7:00 p.m.

7 Morningside at #2 Concordia – 7:30 p.m.

Semifinals (Nov. 12) and the championship match (Nov. 15) will be hosted by the highest remaining seeds.

The NAIA National Championship begins with opening-round matches on November 22, with the final site December 3–9 in Sioux City.
