Jack Laven of Northwestern College is the GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Men’s Golfer-of-the-Week. Laven, a junior from Okoboji, Iowa, had a phenomenal final round at the 2023 Northwest Iowa Invitational at Willow Creek Golf Course in Le Mars, Iowa. He tied his career-low round with a 66 (-5) in round three, to move up 11 spots in the individual standings to be the highest-finishing GPAC golfer at the event (Tied for 3rd). His stellar final round moved him to even par (213) on the tournament.
