The American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) has announced its All-American teams and Dordt’s Haley Kuperus (Sophomore; Ireton, Iowa) has earned honorable mention honors. Earlier this off season Kuperus was named to the AVCA All-Region team.
Kuperus averaged 2.6 kills per set with a .282 kill efficiency, and she averaged just under a block per set.
Kuperus was a First-Team All-GPAC selection this season while helping the Defenders to a 19-9 overall mark and a 10-6 league record.
Through two seasons Kuperus has played in 46 matches and averaged 2.54 kills with a .266 kill efficiency while totaling 419 kills and 158 total blocks.
