Jenna Wright of Dordt University is this week’s GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Women’s Soccer Defensive Player-of-the-Week. Wright, a senior from Olathe, Kansas, made a career-high 21 saves in leading the Defenders to 1-0 win over #25 Benedictine. She stopped 15 shots in the first half, made 10 more saves in the second frame, en route to her second shutout of the season and eighth in her career. Wright has recorded double-digit saves in four career matches.
