(Sioux City, Iowa) – The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) and Hauff Mid-America Sports are proud to announce the following Men’s Volleyball players-of-the-week for contests played February 13-19, 2023. Hauff Mid-America Sports is the presenting sponsor of the 2022-2023 GPAC Players-of-the-Week and Players and Coaches-of-the-Year awards program.
Attacker – Caleb Kulesza, Dordt University (Opposite)
Caleb Kulesza of Dordt University is this week’s GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Volleyball Attacker-of-the-Week. Kulesza, a senior, from Chicago, Illinois, averaged 3.83 kills per set as Dordt went 2-0 with a pair of conference sweeps last week. He also added eight digs, four service aces and three blocks for the Defenders.
Setter- Lukas Van Groningen, Dordt University
Lukas Van Groningen from Dordt University is this week’s GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Volleyball Setter-of-the-Week. Van Groningen, a sophomore from Ripon, California, averaged 9.33 assists per set as the Defenders swept a pair of conferences foes on the week. In the two matches he totaled 56 assists, added eight kills, six digs and five blocks.
