Men’s defending champion Hastings and women’s defending champion Jamestown are projected to repeat as GPAC Champions in 2023 according to the league’s soccer coaches.
The Hastings Men tallied 8 of the 12 first place votes in the balloting. The Northwestern Men, who joined the Broncos in the NAIA national tournament last year, were picked 5th and the Dordt Men were selected 7th. Three first place votes went to Concordia which was picked secondand the remaining first place vote went to Midland which was picked third.
The Jamestown Women collected 7 of 13 first place votes. Hastings received five and was picked second while Briar Cliff got the final first place vote and was picked third. The Dordt Women tied with Morningside for 6thand Northwestern is projected 10th.
Waldorf is joining the GPAC as an affiliate member this season and will compete in league in both women’s and men’s soccer.
