After claiming the GPAC championship over the weekend, the Northwestern College Cheer Team is well represented on the all-conference squads released Tuesday. Hannah Van Maaren was a first teamer for the Raiders while teammates Kate McEwen, Bella Muller and Adriana Sandbulte all made the second team and Allie Oberhelman the third team. Dordt’s Raya Zevenbergen was also first team Cheer while Hallie Rusk made the third team for Dordt. Northwestern’s Taylor Decker was tabbed as the Hauff Mid-America Sports GPAC Cheer Coach-of-the-Year.
Dordt placed two on the GPAC All-Conference Dance first team, Madelyn Eidsness and Jill Hofer. Dordt’s Lauryn Lillion made the second team along with Northwestern’s Bailey Ahlquist and Ava Schmitz. Third teamers included Yanira Bueso, Libbie Rettinger and Alexis Vos of Dordt and Aimee Hulstein of Northwestern.
