Duncan named GPAC football offensive player of the week

SIOUX CITY, Iowa – Northwestern quarterback Colby Duncan has been selected as the GPAC Offensive Player of the Week. It is the second time in his career that he has earned a GPAC weekly honor.

“Colby had an outstanding day leading our offense,” said head coach Matt McCarty. “He attacked down the field and gave our playmakers opportunities to make big plays.”

Duncan had a career day, totaling 384 yards and six touchdowns. He went for 335 yards and five touchdowns through the air, while also rushing for 49 yards and a score. Duncan’s five touchdown passes were spread out among four different receivers.

Northwestern closes the regular season at Concordia this week, kicking off at 1:00 p.m. in Seward, Nebraska.
