Mitchell Dryden of Dordt University is this week’s GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Men’s Soccer Defensive Player-of-the-Week. Dryden, a senior, from La Crescent, Minnesota, totaled 15 saves and allowed just one goal in a win against Mount Marty and a 1-1 tie at Morningside. Dryden made five saves and earned his third shutout of the season, seventh of his career, in the Defenders 2-0 win against Mount Marty. He followed with a season-high 10 saves in the tie against Morningside. This was the fourth career match that Dryden had double-digit saves.
