The Dordt University football team opens the 2026 season at Indiana Wesleyan on Friday night. The 2025 season ended in Indiana in a playoff loss to Marian. Dordt Coach Joel Penner says he returns a team with a lot of experience.
Penner says they have a lot of play makers on offense.
One of thos playmakers is starting quarterback Noah Stickfadden.
Last year Dordt’s defense limited opponents to just 15.2 points per game, and less than 100 yards rushing per contest. The Defenders return 9 starters and that side of the ball, and Penner says depth will be important.
