KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Dordt football team has climbed into the top 5 in the fifth NAIA football Top 25 rating, while Northwestern fell to No. 8 following a loss to Concordia on Saturday.
Keiser (Fla.) remains in the top spot, receiving 16 of 17 first-place votes. Grand View (Iowa) rose to No. 2, receiving the final first-place vote. Indiana Wesleyan, Bethel (Tenn.) and Dordt moves up three spots to round out the Top Five. . The Defenders are 4-0. Three GPAC teams are now ranked in the top 10 with Morningside right on the heels of the Red Raiders at number 9. Following its win over Northwestern, Concordia is receiving votes.
Northwestern has been in the top 25 in 92 consecutive ratings dating back to August 7, 2017, which ranks fifth in the NAIA.
