Davelaar named GPAC Men’s track athlete of the week

Isaac Davelaar of Dordt University is this week’s GPAC men’s track athlete-of-the-week. Davelaar, a sophomore from Sioux Falls, South Dakota, earned a first-place finish in his only race at the USD Early Bird Invite held last weekend in Vermillion, South Dakota. Competing against NAIA, NCAA D-I and NCAA D-II competition, Davelaar won the 400m by nearly 1.5 seconds with a personal-best time of 47.99. His time is No.1 in the GPAC and is fifth fastest all-time in Defenders history.
