(Sioux City, Iowa) – Concordia University totaled 98 points and is the preseason coaches’ selection to win the 2025 Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) Baseball Championship. The Bulldogs garnered eight first place votes as the top selection. The other three first place votes went to Doane University who was five points back in second place with 93 points.
Morningside was tabbed to finish third with 79 points while Midland was picked fourth with 66. The Lancers from Mount Marty round out the top five with 54 points.
In 2024, Doane and Concordia were the regular season co-champions in the GPAC each with a league mark of 21-7. The Bulldogs won the GPAC Postseason Tournament by a score of 5-1 over Doane.
