SIOUX CITY, Iowa – Northwestern College senior right-hander Brady Roberts was tabbed the GPAC baseball Pitcher of the Week on the heels of his seven-inning gem against the Mount Marty Lancers on Friday night.
Roberts (Sr., Urbandale, Iowa) allowed just three Lancer hits and two runs, with only one of them being earned. He punched out a season-high 11 batters, tying his career-high. It marks the fourth time in his Red Raider career he has struck out 11 in a start with the last being against Hastings back on March 11, 2022.

The Urbandale, Iowa native also tied the program record for career innings pitched, sitting at 263.2 innings.
The performance held the high-powered Mount Marty line-up to just the two runs that propelled the Raiders to the Game 2 victory, completing the doubleheader sweep of a team sitting 12-4 in GPAC play entering the day as Northwestern would win Game 2, 6-2.
On the season, Roberts now sits 3-5 with a 6.08 ERA in 47.1 innings pitched. He currently sits second on the team in strikeouts (53), as opponents are hitting just .208 off him.
