7 Goals = National Honors

A day after being named the GPAC Women’s soccer Player-of-the-Week, Dordt’s Karinna Tel has been named the NAIA’s National Women’s Soccer Offensive Player-of-the-Week. The junior forward scored seven goals in two games last week. Tel has three straight hat tricks and six on the season. She leads the NAIA this year with 34 goals and is tied for the national lead in points with 76. The Dordt Women’s soccer team is the third seed in the GPAC tournament and they play at second seeded Concordia in the semi-finals tonight.
