A memorial service for 103-year-old Wilma Vaas, of Orange City, formerly of rural Hospers, will be held on Monday at 11:00 AM at the Newkirk Reformed Church in Newkirk, with Rev. Dennis Hietbrink and Rev. John Benson officiating. Interment will follow in West Lawn Cemetery in Orange City. A family prayer service will take place on Monday at 10:00 AM at the Oolman Funeral Home in Orange City. Lunch and a time of visitation with the family will be held at the church immediately following the memorial service.
In lieu of flowers and gifts, the Vaas family prefers memorial donations be given to Prairie Ridge Care Center.
The Oolman Funeral Home in Orange City has been entrusted with the arrangements.
