A funeral service for 100-year-old Russell Van Peursem, of Orange City, formerly of Maurice, will be held on Thursday, November 13, at 11:00 AM at the First Reformed Church in Maurice, with Rev. Wick Hubers officiating. Interment will follow in Sherman Township Cemetery in rural Maurice. Lunch and a time of visitation with the family will take place at the church following the interment.
In lieu of flowers and gifts, the Van Peursem family prefers memorial donations be given to Midwest Honor Flight.
The Oolman Funeral Home in Orange City has been entrusted with the arrangements.
