A funeral service for 96‑year‑old Nila Schiefen, of Hawarden, will be held on Saturday, February 7th, at 1:00 PM at Porter Funeral Home in Hawarden, with Pastor Carolyn Salberg officiating. Burial will be held at a later date at Grace Hill Cemetery in Hawarden.
In lieu of flowers, the family will direct memorials toward a cause meaningful to Nila.
The Schiefen family is under the care of Porter Funeral Home.
