A Mass of Christian Burial for 80-year-old Myron “Mike” Coons, of Ireton, will be held on Friday at 2:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish, St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Hawarden. Father Mauro Sanchez will serve as celebrant. Burial will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Ireton.
Visitation with the family will begin Thursday evening at 5:30 p.m. at the church, with a Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m. led by Deacon Richard Port, followed by the Rosary, conducted by the Knights of Columbus.
The Porter Funeral Home in Hawarden is assisting the family.
