A funeral service for 94 year-old John Van Zanten, of Rock Valley, will be held on Thursday at 11:00am at the Trinity Christian Reformed Church in Rock Valley. A private family burial will precede the service at Valley View Cemetery in Rock Valley. Visitation with the family will be Wednesday form 5:00pm to 7:00pm at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to benefit Hope Haven or Kingdom Boundaries Prison Aftercare. The Porter Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
