A funeral service for 81-year-old John De Groot, of rural Sioux Center, Iowa, will be held on Saturday, December 20, 2025, at 10:00 AM at Faith Christian Reformed Church in Sioux Center, with Pastor Bob Pollema officiating. Burial with military honors will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Sioux Center.
Visitation with the family will be Friday, December 19, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at Faith Christian Reformed Church in Sioux Center.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Midwest Honor Flight.
The Memorial Funeral Home of Sioux Center has been entrusted with the arrangements.
