A funeral service for 73-year-old Betty A. Darnell of Sheldon will be held Friday at 10:30 a.m. at the Vander Ploeg Funeral Home in Sheldon, with Bishop Mike Hughes officiating. Visitation with the family will be held Thursday from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Vander Ploeg Funeral Home in Sheldon. The Vander Ploeg Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
