White Jeep Sought Following Hit-and-Run Crash East of Hull

The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office is searching for the driver of a vehicle involved in a hit-and-run crash Thursday morning east of Hull.

Authorities say the accident happened on Thursday, May 28th, at about 8:02 a.m. at the intersection of Highway 18 and Jackson Avenue.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, Kayti Beukelman, 40, of Hull, was driving a 2013 Ford Flex westbound on Highway 18 and was stopped in traffic when an unknown vehicle struck her SUV from behind.

Investigators believe the suspect vehicle is a newer white Jeep with black license plates. The vehicle reportedly left the scene and continued westbound on Highway 18.

No injuries were reported.

The Ford Flex sustained an estimated $2,500 in damage.
