Where to Vote Tuesday in Sioux County

Sioux County voters heading to the polls tomorrow (Tuesday, November 3) should check their assigned polling location before leaving home.

The county lists 10 polling sites serving its voting precincts. Where a voter lives determines which precinct they belong to and where they cast their ballot.

Today (Monday, November 2) is the final day to vote absentee in person at the Sioux County Courthouse in Orange City. That option ends at 4:30 p.m. On Tuesday, voters casting ballots in person must go to their assigned polling place.

What to Bring

According to the county’s voting guidance, voters must show an approved form of identification or use an attester. Those who did not preregister or need to update their address also must provide proof of residency or use an attester.

Curbside voting is available for voters unable to enter their polling place. Those voters should follow the directions posted outside the building. Voters needing assistance can also ask precinct officials for help.

In an earlier interview with Sioux County Radio, County Elections Administrator Ashley Riibe encouraged people to contact the auditor’s office with questions before voting.

“So yeah, the biggest thing, if anyone has any questions, always call the auditor’s office,” Riibe said.

The Sioux County Auditor’s Office can be reached at 712-737-2216. Additional election information and sample ballots are available on the county’s elections website.
