The Riverside Community School District has selected Alynn Coppock as its next superintendent. The district, located in southwest Iowa’s Pottawattamie County, serves about 700 students across three schools in the communities of Carson, Oakland, and Macedonia.
Coppock currently serves as the middle/high school principal at West Sioux in Hawarden and brings more than two decades of experience in education. According to West Sioux’s Facebook page, Coppock has served in the role at the school for the past seven years.
She is set to begin her role as Riverside superintendent on July 1st, 2026.
