UPDATE: Multiple Injuries in School Bus vs Semi Accident

A Le Mars Community School Bus driver is at fault for a crash involving the bus and a semi-truck in Plymouth County at around 7:20 this (Monday) morning.  The Iowa State Patrol says the school bus, driven by 61-year-old Raymond Holbrook, was traveling westbound on 120th and failed to yield the right of way to the semi traveling southbound on County Road K64.

The semi, driven by 67-year-old Brian Machmann of Madelia, struck the bus on the passenger side and both vehicles ended up in the west ditch.

Le Mars Community School District Superintendent Dr. Steven Webner confirms there were four students on the bus, and all four were taken to the hospital with non-critical, non-life-threatening injuries.  Both drivers were taken to the hospital as well.
