United Way of Siouxland Raises $2.9 Million During 2023-24 Campaign

SIOUX CITY (KTIV)- Thursday night, the United Way of Siouxland announced that they raised a total of $2.9 million during their most recent campaign, surpassing the $2.8 million raised last year.

With the money, United Way will be able to help many different local programs that address the most critical issues in the community.

This campaign all started back in August, with their first-ever Pickle Ball for a Purpose tournament.

Throughout the last 6 months, different organizations have raised money for the United Way’s campaign. And this year, campaign chairs Brian and Heather Crichton were right there throughout the whole process.

“There’s so many people that are out in the community trying to raise money to help others. Siouxland is very special that way. I think our area is just ready to help others who need it, and this is a great example of that,” said Brian Crichton.

Now that the campaign is done, United Way will allocate donations to those different programs to help the Siouxland community.
