Two distinguished professors from Dordt University have recently published insightful new books

Dr. David Mulder, a Professor of Education, has released “Always Becoming, Never Arriving: Developing an Imagination for Teaching Christianly.” This book encourages Christian educators to bridge the gap between their beliefs and teaching practices, reflecting on how faith influences classroom decisions. Mulder’s work aims to support both new and experienced educators in their professional and spiritual growth.

Dr. Jan van Vliet, Professor Emeritus of Economics, has authored “Adam Smith,” part of P&R Publishing’s Great Thinkers series. This book reexamines the moral and economic philosophy of Adam Smith, challenging conventional views and highlighting Smith’s vision for human flourishing. Van Vliet draws connections between Smith’s ideas and Reformed Christian principles, offering a nuanced perspective on the renowned thinker.

Both books are available for purchase through various online retailers and the Dordt Campus Store. Visit Dordt’s website for the full story of each book.
