A Northwest Iowa woman died in a crash Saturday evening in Plymouth County.
The Iowa State Patrol says it happened around 7:44 pm near the 34,000 block of County Road C-12. Nineteen-year-old Sarah Van Ostrand of Struble was driving a 2003 GMC Sonoma westbound when her vehicle crossed the center line.
Her pickup collided with an eastbound semi that was preparing to turn into Dykstra Dairy.
Van Ostrand was pronounced dead at the scene. The semi driver, 35-year-old David Cleveringa, was not hurt.
