The US National Weather Service Sioux Falls South Dakota is forecasting that winds up to 70 mph could be the primary threat as storms move southeast across the area during the late afternoon and evening Monday, July 7. While a lesser threat, large hail up to half dollar size will also be possible.
Storm risks begin to grow early this afternoon in central South Dakota, and will spread east and southeast into this evening.
