For the third consecutive year, the Sports Card and Collectible Show is returning to the Centre Mall in Sioux Center.
Founded by local collectors Gary Zeutenhorst and Dallas Kroeze, this will be the second show of the year, featuring around 20 vendors from across the region. Kroeze says participants are coming from as far away as Kansas and the Des Moines area, as well as from closer communities like Sioux Falls, Spencer, and others.
Kroeze explains how he and Zeutenhorst got acquainted with each other.
Kroeze says his love for card collecting began when he was just six — a passion he picked up again more than ten years ago.
Kroeze adds that they aim to have two events per year, one in April and the other in October. He says the response from the community has been overwhelmingly positive.
Kroeze says people of all ages are getting into card collecting.
The Sports Card and Collectible Show returns to the Centre Mall in Sioux Center this Saturday, October 11, from 9 am to 3 pm.
