Six Arrested in Sioux County Drug and Weapons Bust

A drug and weapons bust took place on Monday following a joint investigation by the Sioux Center Police Department and the Sioux County Sheriff’s Office. Six individuals were arrested in connection to the month-long probe: Efrain Ramirez, 48, of Sioux Center, Alberto Hernandez, 43, of Rock Valley, Juan Marques, 23, of Orange City, and from Battle Creek, Gary Stallings, 45, Kandi Senski, 33, and Jehsi Boren, 29.

Several search warrants were executed simultaneously at local residences and a dairy, leading to the recovery of illegal drugs and weapons.

The suspects face various charges and are currently held at the Sioux County Jail. Ramirez and Hernandez are both charged with the delivery of a controlled substance, with additional child endangerment charges for both. Marques faces charges for delivering a controlled substance. Stallings, Senski, and Boren are charged with trafficking stolen weapons, with additional charges for Stallings and Boren, including second degree theft and felons in possession of firearms.

The operation was assisted by the Tri-County Cert Team, Woodbury County Sheriff’s Office SWAT Team, Iowa State Patrol Tactical Team, Orange City Police Department, and the FBI.
