Thanksgiving is expected to be the busiest travel season so far of the year. Brian Ortner, Public Affairs Representative for TRIPLE-A in Iowa and Nebraska, recently spoke with Sioux County Radio on how to stay ahead of the crowd in the West North Central Region, which includes Nebraska and Iowa.
The travel season is continuing to get busier each year, even compared to pre-COVID numbers. Ortner reflects on how many people TRIPLE-AAA expects to travel across the Region this season.
Ortner reminds us of the five things you can do to stay safe on the road this holiday season.
If you are traveling next week, you can try to avoid the busiest times by leaving earlier in the morning on Tuesday and Wednesday. After Thanksgiving, leaving around 11 am on Friday and Saturday could help you get ahead of some of the traffic as well.
