Sioux Center Readies for Hometown Holidays 2025

Sioux Center’s Hometown Holidays celebration is set to return for its fourth year, lighting up the city’s downtown with festive cheer, family traditions, and community spirit.

Hosted by the Sioux Center Chamber of Commerce, the three-day event runs December 4th through 6th with a full lineup of holiday favorites — including the Lighted Parade, Heritage Village’s Lighted Town Square, Christmas for a Cause, and Breakfast with Santa — along with cookie decorating, mini train rides, a house lighting contest, and free movies at Cinema 5.

Festivities begin Thursday evening with the Lighted Parade at 5:30 p.m. and continue through Saturday. VanDerVliet says the event has grown steadily since its launch.

Christmas for a Cause will be open nightly from 6 to 9 p.m., offering a festive and charitable experience for all ages.

All events are free and open to the public. For details, contest registration, or to view the full schedule, visit siouxcenterchamber.com/hometownholidays.
