A 30-year-old Orange City man was arrested about 12:25 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 1, on a charge of first-offense domestic assault-bodily injury.
Orange City Police arrested Steve Sanchez Topete after a report of a disturbance at the Candlelight Village Mobile Home Park in Orange City.
Topete allegedly assaulted a juvenile female at his residence.
A no contact order has been issued against Topete with the juvenile.
Topete is an officer with the Sioux Center Police Department, having taken the oath of office on Aug. 1.
