The Sioux Center Natural Gas Department was named an award winner in the American Public Gas Association Safety Contest. Sioux Center Municipal Utilities is among 33 natural gas systems in the nation being recognized by the APGA.
Sioux Center Utilities Manage,r Murray Hulstein, says they’re proud of their team for their safety commitments and recognized their reliability and safety investment in the community.
The APGA Safety Award highlights the dedication of natural gas systems for their work in maintaining the highest safety standards within their system, community, and industry. The winners are selected based on total hours worked and the number of recordable injury or illness cases from January 1 to December 31 of the previous calendar year.
