Full Closure between 5th and 12th St N begins Monday
Sioux Center, IA – Starting Monday, Highway 75 will be entirely closed between 5th St. S and 12th St. N. That includes the section between 7th and 9th St. N, which previously was open.
Casey’s gas station’s east driveway from 7th St. NE is now open.
Travelers wanting to access Econo Lodge, Mi Lupita Restaurant, and other businesses on the east side of the closed area will be able to use a gravel access from the west across the highway at 9th St. NW.
Access to Late Harvest, Jimmy Johns, and other businesses along the west side of the construction area will be available via 1st Ave. NW.
During this closure, contractors will be removing any remaining road surface, working on underground utilities and storm water management, preparing the roadbed, and paving.
Traffic can still enter Sioux Center on Highway 75 from the north and south but will need to find other routes around the construction area.
