Applications are now open for the 2026 Generations Community Endowment Fund grants. Eligible applicants include non-profit organizations and local government units serving Sioux Center that are tax-exempt under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
Applications are available online at siouxcenter.org/Generations and at the Sioux Center City Office. Applications will be accepted through January 31, 2026.
Formed in 1997, the Sioux Center Community Foundation enables citizens and businesses to make tax-deductible donations for major community projects. More than $8 million has been distributed to help fund local landmarks such as the All Seasons Center, Sioux Center Public Library, Ridge Golf Course and Clubhouse, Veterans Memorial, dog park, Heritage Village, and the Sioux County Regional Airport.
The Foundation also manages a permanent endowment fund supporting Sioux Center’s non-profit organizations through a competitive grant process.
“It is our hope that the Generations Community Endowment Fund will continue to grow,” said Kevin Wolterstorff, president of the Sioux Center Community Foundation Board, “to provide a lasting financial resource for Sioux Center’s non-profit community.”
