Four students were in a school bus when it was involved in a crash with a semi this morning. Plymouth County Dispatch confirmed to KTIV that a semi and a school bus belonging to the Le Mars Community School District collided at County Road K64 and 120th Street between Oyens and Carnes around 7:20 a.m.
Le Mars Community School District Superintendent Dr. Steven Webner confirms there were four students on the bus, and that there were non-critical, non-life-threatening injuries; he says not all the students were taken to the hospital. Webner says the district is cooperating with authorities in the investigation which is being led by the Iowa State Patrol.
