Peoples Insurance and Peoples Bank Wealth Management Group are expanding their services with a new 7,670-square-foot building to be constructed just east of Peoples Bank in Rock Valley.
The one-story facility will feature offices for insurance and wealth management staff, as well as workspace for digital banking and IT teams, a conference room, and potential future office space.
Peoples Insurance Manager Scott Mantel says that with a recent addition to their services, an expansion was needed.
While headquartered in Sioux Center, the expansion will also give Peoples Bank Wealth Management Group a permanent presence in Rock Valley. The department recently surpassed $1 billion in assets. Mantel says the expansion will not only strengthen Peoples Bank, but also enhance the experience for their customers.
Construction is expected to be completed in the third quarter of 2026, followed by remodeling of the existing Rock Valley bank to add offices, expanded workspace, a new conference room, a kitchenette, and restrooms. That project is slated for completion by the end of 2026.
