A Paullina man suffered minor injuries in a motorcycle accident Wednesday evening south of Alton.
The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office says the accident occurred at approximately 6:55 p.m. on Highway 60, about one mile south of Alton.
According to the sheriff’s office, 48-year-old John Krause was driving a 1999 Honda GL1500 motorcycle northbound when he entered the median and lost control.
Krause was transported by Alton Ambulance to Orange City Area Health System for treatment of minor injuries.
Damage to the motorcycle was estimated at $5,000.
The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Alton Fire Department, Alton Ambulance, Orange City Fire Department and Orange City Police Department.
