An Orange City woman was taken to the hospital following a single-vehicle crash northwest of Sioux Center Saturday afternoon.
The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office says the crash occurred shortly before 3:30 p.m. on Grant Avenue, about one mile northwest of Sioux Center.
Thirty-four-year-old Danielle Warntjes was driving a 2012 Chrysler Town and Country northbound when she lost control of the vehicle and entered the west ditch.
Sioux Center Ambulance transported Warntjes to Sioux Center Health for treatment of her injuries.
The sheriff’s office estimates the Chrysler sustained approximately $5,000 in damage. Warntjes was cited for failure to maintain control.
The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Sioux Center Police Department, Sioux Center Ambulance and Sioux Center Fire Department.
