The Orange City Hy-Vee is celebrating renovations that bring a full-service bakery, full-service meat counter, and 10,000 new items to the store.
Hy-Vee leadership marked the upgrades with a grand opening celebration and ribbon-cutting ceremony Tuesday, October 6. The first 100 customers also received free swag bags.
The expanded selection and services come with additional staff. The store hired five more full-time employees and several part-time employees as part of the renovation.
“Hy-Vee is proud to bring an even greater variety of items and services to our Orange City customers,” said Orange City Hy-Vee Store Director Angela Halstead. “This upgrade demonstrates our commitment to the community, and we welcome everyone to experience the new level of convenience the Orange City Hy-Vee now offers.”
The celebration recognizes upgrades to the existing Orange City store, with the new bakery and meat counter among the featured additions.
Sioux County Radio will broadcast live as part of the ongoing grand opening celebration from the Orange City Hy-Vee on Saturday, October 10, from 10 a.m. to noon. Stop by during the broadcast and check out the store’s expanded offerings.
