The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office has announced the casualty of a man who was in a motorcycle accident in Sheldon on Wednesday night.
27-year-old Jeremy Korth was driving a 2012 Harley Davidson Glide southbound on Highway 60 when he left the roadway and entered the ditch. He was ejected from the motorcycle as it rolled.
Korth was transported to the Sheldon Hospital before being transferred to Sioux Falls where he died as a result of his injuries.
The motorcycle sustained approximately $18,000 in damages.
The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the O’Brien County Sheriff’s Office, the Sheldon Fire Department, and the Sheldon Ambulance.
