Northwestern College’s Class of 2025 Achieves 100% Placement Rate

Northwestern College reports a 100% placement rate for its Class of 2025, with all bachelor’s degree graduates placed within six months of graduation.

According to data collected by the college’s Compass Center for Career and Calling, 83.2% of graduates are employed, 16.4% are enrolled in graduate school, and 0.4% are intentionally engaged in service opportunities.

The data was gathered using the First-Destination Survey developed by the National Association of Colleges and Employers, following all NACE guidelines and protocols. Northwestern achieved a 100% survey response rate, significantly higher than the national benchmark of 65%.

“Northwestern graduates continue to enter the world with clarity of purpose and confidence in their calling,” said Dr. Elizabeth Pitts, director of the Compass Center for Career and Calling. “Our 2025 alumni point to their academic and co-curricular experiences as shaping both their professional readiness and their understanding of vocation as a faithful response to God in every role of life.”

More than 155 companies and organizations hired members of the Class of 2025, including Compassion International, Wells Enterprises, Nebraska Medicine, Pella Corporation, Interstates, and Wells Fargo.

Graduates are working in a wide range of roles, including accountant, data scientist, marketing associate, police officer, recruiting coordinator, software engineer, donor relations specialist, preschool teacher, and child protection worker.

Among graduates employed full-time, the average reported salary was $52,595. The highest reported salary was $85,250.

Approximately 16.4% of the class is continuing their education in graduate programs, including law, medicine, social work, and business management. Graduate schools attended include Des Moines University, Iowa State University, Lincoln Memorial University College of Veterinary Medicine, Ohio State University, Western Theological Seminary, Worcester State University, and the universities of Iowa, South Dakota, and Kansas Medical Center.

Members of the Class of 2025 are now living and working in 23 states, Washington, D.C., and two other countries. Iowa remains home to 56% of graduates.
