Nancy Dykstra and Anita Cirulis from the Northwest Iowa Democrats are working to inform people about the Democratic Party and the candidates that are running for office in Northwest Iowa.
In light of recent events, they call for civility and conversation to understand each other. Anita Cirulis explains the cause of polarization on both sides.
Northwest Iowa Democrats are hosting an event tomorrow (September 24) called Dinner with Democrats, where you can meet candidates running for Iowa Governor, Statewide Senator, Iowa Secretary of State, and Representative in the US House. Three Democrats will be competing for Iowa’s Congressional District 4, currently held by Randy Feenstra since 2021.
The candidates will each be giving a short speech on where they stand on issues, but you can talk to the candidates directly at the Dinner.
The Dinner is tomorrow, September 24th, doors open at 5:30, and the event is from 6:00 pm to 7:45 pm at Willow Creek Banquet Hall at the Le Mars Golf Course. Lellie’s Eastside Restaurant is catering for the event, so come with an empty stomach. You can RSVP online at siouxcountydemocrats.org. Tickets are $25, but you will be accepted at the door without one.
