A new restaurant in northwest Sioux Center is in the works.
A local developer, MJDJ LLC, is planning a new restaurant, grill, and bar in the Brookview Development Addition just west of Highway 75, and the City is offering a development agreement for the project.
“This project will provide employment opportunities, make significant investment in facility construction, and provide a destination for the region in our community,” said City Manager Scott Wynja. “The city has supported and encouraged their development in this area and recognizes the costs to develop this project site and construct the facility.”
The city’s development agreement for the new restaurant involves a partial tax rebate on a sliding scale for five years following construction, consistent with similar projects that bring economic and quality of life growth to Sioux Center.
